Helical Iridium Certified Passive Antenna

Description

The Helical Iridium Certified Passive Antenna is an external antenna for RockBLOCK 9704 SMA installations.

 

It's tuned for the Iridium frequency band and connects to the RockBLOCK 9704 through a suitable SMA cable, such as the 1 m SMA cable kit. Use it when the board is inside an enclosure and the antenna needs to be mounted externally with a clear view of the sky.

 

The antenna uses Maxtena Helicore technology and is ground-plane independent, giving you more flexibility in how and where it is mounted. The ABS/PC housing is IP67 rated, so it can be used in outdoor or exposed installations when mounted correctly.
