Helical Iridium Certified Passive Antenna

Description

The Helical Iridium Certified Passive Antenna is an external antenna for RockBLOCK 9704 or RockBLOCK 9603/9602 SMA installations.

 

It's tuned for the Iridium frequency band and connects to the RockBLOCK 9704 or RockBLOCK 9603/9602 modules through a suitable SMA cable, such as the 1 m SMA cable kit. Use it when the board is inside an enclosure and the antenna needs to be mounted externally with a clear view of the sky.

 

The antenna uses Maxtena Helicore technology and is ground-plane independent, giving you more flexibility in how and where it is mounted. The ABS/PC housing is IP67 rated, so it can be used in outdoor or exposed installations when mounted correctly.
